Dimi Dynamite was born in 1979 in Hamburg, Germany. Since his childhood he has been interested in music. At the age of 7 he got keyboard lessons. Since 1996 he has been performing at various stages. 

His music is inspired heavily by Prince, but also by pop-, soul- and funk influences from the 70s up to the 90s.
